CIVIVI is quickly becoming a hub of interesting fixed blade designs and the Maxwell is no different. Somewhat of a mundane name for an impressive tanto knife, no offense to anyone named Max, this Maciej Torbe design is a beast of a knife in every sense of the word. The blade itself weighs over a half a pound and the blade is nearly two-inches wide at its widest point. Yet it is still highly maneuverable. The fuller in the blade and the swedge combine to remove much of the extra weight from the tip giving the Maxwell excellent balance in the hand to minimize fatigue. Built for combat, it will serve quite well around the campsite, just be sure to oil it on occasion.
