The Tier 1-C from FOBOS Knives is a knife designed for the operator in the field, with a broad appeal to suit everyone. The knife is large and powerful, with a blade profile that is suitable for many activities around the campsite. The blade itself is near 6.5" and made from stonewashed CPM-3V carbon steel and features a convex grind to suit its stocky nature. There is jimping on the back of the blade/handle and in the recessed finger groove that adds traction, even using the finger choil to choke up on the knife for detail work. Additionally, there is a notch above the jimping that can be used to strike a fire steel.
The handles come in a variety of colors of micarta with several colors of liners to really find the combination that speaks to you. The butt of the knife has a larger tang extension that can double as a bashing tool or glass breaker in emergency situations. The knife comes complete with a leather sheath to carry it with you wherever you go.
