CobraTec Medium FS-3 We The People - 3 inch D2 Steel Blade

First I'd like to say that Neal and the company were great to work with. Neal gave me a coupon code and I was able to save a good amount of money plus ships was fast. The three stars are for the Knife If you're looking for a "cheaper" OTF then this knife is great option. I have three OTFs from three different companies and as the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for". Without comparing this knife with my Microtech Ulratech, it's a great knife. The action is very snappy and I have not had one failure to feed or retract. Now when I do compare it to a Microtech that's when you notice why the Microtech's a more expensive. The switch on the Cobratec is VERY stiff and even though there is gimping on the switch my thumb sometimes will slide because of the stiffness of the switch. I am right hand dominant but when I try to use the knife in my left hand I sometimes struggle to retract the blade. The Microtech is so much smoother and easier to deploy and retract. The Cobratec is way heavier as well. I had to readjust the pocket clip and also had to apply thread lock to the screws because they were backing out after only having it for a couple of days. I love the design of the knife, that's the main reason why I am keeping it but if you're looking for an OTF, save up another $150 or so and grab an Ultratech.
