The Hedron from Ostap Hel is an excellent fixed blade design for hunting and bushcrafting, as well as everyday carry. It's compact, solid, and the drop point blade is extremely versatile with tons of belly. There are two runs of jimping on the thumb ramp which provide solid traction no matter how you choose to grip it. The only thing the full tang D2 tool steel blade lacks is a square shoulder on the spine for striking a fire steel but there is a lanyard post hidden at the butt end. We really enjoy all the aspects of this knife that make it a great user and abuser - from the tough D2 blade to the ergonomic, grippy G10 handle, it all works. Ships in a Kydex sheath with Kydex belt loop that will accommodate belts up to two-inches wide.
