The Pneumatic Actuator is a new limited edition Terr Mundi collector piece from the minds at B'yond EDC. The main and obvious feature is the piston attached to the side of the knife. It attaches to the blade and handle and combines with the black and gold finish to give the knife a steampunk-ish look. When deploying the knife with the flipper tab the piston rotates and moves with the movement of the blade, bringing to mind that industrial feel you get with steampunk. The movement of the piston actually gives a little push to the blade while opening it, and with a little practice, this knife is a lot of fun to play with. The handle is made from skeletonized titanium with a black finish and gold accents really pop and give the knife a bit of elegance. The black drop point blade is made from high-quality M390, a favorite of high-end knifemakers, and is endlessly functional. After deployment, the blade is secured with a lockbar across the back of the handle that allows you to close the knife once lifted up. The knife comes with a titanium pocket clip and all Terra Mundi knives come with a shock-proof, water-proof, dust-proof polymer case, and a personally signed Certificate of Authenticity by the designer.
