The C&H Precision G6-EPS is a dedicated optic adapter plate specifically designed for the Glock Gen 6 MOS (Modular Optic System) platform.
Since Glock updated the MOS cut for the Gen 6 in early 2026, standard Gen 5 plates are no longer compatible.
Key Features & Improvements
| Feature | Details |
| Material | CNC-machined from 6061 Aluminum with a MIL-SPEC Type III Hard Anodized black finish. |
| Hardware | Includes Stainless Steel T-Nuts for maximum thread engagement, preventing the screws from stripping out of the plate. |
| Optic Fit | Designed specifically for the Holosun K-footprint used by the EPS line, ensuring a "glove-like" fit that eliminates lateral movement. |
| Compatibility | Fits all full-size and compact Gen 6 MOS models (G17, G19, G45, G47, G49). Not for G43X/G48. |
Installation Specs
To maintain the structural integrity of the mount and avoid "shearing" screws under recoil, follow these torque specifications:
- Plate to Slide: 15–18 inch-pounds (using the provided M4 screws).
- Optic to Plate: 10–12 inch-pounds.
- Thread Locker: C&H recommends a small drop of VC-3 Vibra-Tite (included) or Blue Loctite 242.
Why Not Use the Glock Factory Plate?
While the Gen 6 ships with a polymer plate system, the community generally considers them a "placeholder." The G6-EPS is preferred for duty or hard-use carry because:
- Lower Deck Height: It allows the optic to sit deeper in the slide, which helps you achieve a lower 1/3 co-witness with standard-height or "middle-height" iron sights.
- Metal-on-Metal: Polymer plates can warp over time under the heat of rapid fire; aluminum does not.
