The C&H Precision GL-SPEEDFEED-19-BR is a brass grip plug and magwell insert designed specifically for Glock Gen 5 (and newer Gen 6) compact frames.

Unlike a traditional flared magwell that sits outside the grip, the Speed Feed fits into the frame's rear cavity. This provides the performance benefits of a magwell without increasing the "printing" profile of the firearm, making it a popular choice for Everyday Carry (EDC) and USPSA competition.

Key Specifications

  • Material: High-quality Brass (Precision CNC Machined).
  • Weight: Approximately 1.8 oz.
  • Compatibility: Glock Gen 5 Compact frames, including models G19, G23, G32, and G38.
  • Finish: Natural Brass.

Main Benefits

  • Enhanced Reloading: Features an optimized feed ramp angle that helps guide the magazine into the well, reducing the risk of "snagging" and lowering reload split times.
  • Recoil Management: The 1.8 oz of solid brass adds weight to the bottom of the grip. This shifts the balance of the pistol and helps mitigate felt recoil for faster follow-up shots.
  • Debris Protection: It plugs the open cavity at the bottom of the Glock frame, preventing dirt, sand, or lint from entering the firing mechanism.
  • Concealment Friendly: Because it does not extend beyond the width of the factory grip, it does not add any extra bulk that would make the gun harder to hide under clothing.

Installation & Use

  • Simple Install: It typically slides into the grip cavity and is secured with a single screw (often requiring a drop of blue Loctite for long-term security).
  • Competition Legal: This model is generally approved for use in USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Association) within various divisions.
  • Note: If you use backstraps on your Glock, ensure the Speed Feed version you select is compatible, as some grip plugs require the frame to be "naked" or require specific modifications to the backstrap.
