The Spiny Dogfish from CIVIVI features a reverse tanto blade made from 14C28N stainless steel. The reverse tanto blade puts a lot more steel behind the tip than other blade shapes, giving this knife greater piercing ability. The 14C28N steel is highly resistant to corrosion, letting you put this knife to work in harsh conditions. The Spiny Dogfish takes its name from a small shark that can inject attackers with poison from its spines — yeah, they have two spines — the knife's G-10 handle is curved and textured to resemble its namesake.
