The Du Hoc was built on an American hero's legacy. It wasn't until half a century after he served, that Forged by War designer Austin McGlaun discovered his grandfather won the Silver Star at Pointe du Hoc. To honor his service, he designed a colossal karambit fixed blade knife. With the help of Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical, it's been perfected as a mission-inspired eye catcher from the tip of the recurved blade to the thumb ring at the end of the handle.
Strength meets speed with the Du Hoc assisted folding Karambit, part of the Forged by War program, designed by Austin McGlaun in honor of his uncle’s D-Day landing at Pointe du Hoc. Just like the brave Rangers who scaled the 100-foot cliffs of Normandy, this knife embodies resilience and determination, tackling the toughest tasks with ease. Originally a large, fixed-blade karambit, McGlaun masterfully transformed the design into a more compact, pocketable flipper knife without compromising on strength.
The Du Hoc features a powerful Deadbolt lock that ensures durability and security, complemented by a robust 3.6" blade. With Assisted Opening, it’s designed for quick, one-handed deployment using either the flipper or thumb stud. The G10 handle, equipped with a generous thumb ring, offers enhanced ergonomics and a secure grip for added control.
