Finally Getting It Right
OK. Point of reference. When I was building the majority of my pistols/rifles, I was more concerned about all my 0-400 meters ish all having the same setup than what was "The" kit to have (Best bang for the $$). Then I got pretty serious with developing my skills beyond the basic four day classes. And learned really quickly how important it is to have equipment that is as fail proof as possible. I found myself needing a rifle that would not ever fail me (As part of the training was to prove how most aftermarket parts are not all created equally). So I set out to build what I felt was best for me. I started with a Larue Tactical 5.56, replaced all the "Small" parts and grabbed this optics kit. As a kit the price is actually not bad when you consider the reliability and durability it provides. What helps it stand out is the 5x and functionality, night visions and the multiple dots. I might have about 15 Holosun , a few Sigs and a handful of Leupold setups. While all have different strengths and weakness. This kit has far more strengths as a kit than any other setup I have tried so far. This is one of those "Should have done that first" experiences for me.
