The Garmin Xero C2 is the second-generation Doppler radar chronograph released in January 2026. It succeeds the highly successful Xero C1 Pro, maintaining the same compact, pocket-sized form factor while introducing several performance and connectivity upgrades.
The most notable improvements are the increased processing speed and deeper integration into the Garmin and Applied Ballistics ecosystems.
Key Upgrades
- Rapid-Fire Support: The C2 can now track up to 10 shots per second (the C1 was generally limited to about 1 shot per second). This makes it much more effective for semi-auto strings, IPSC practice, and rapid-fire load development.
- Smartwatch Integration: You can now view live session data, control the unit, and import muzzle velocity directly into a compatible Garmin smartwatch (like the tactix 8 or fēnix series) without needing to look at the device or your phone.
- Resume Session: A new feature allows you to pause and resume sessions across different firearms or bows within a single outing, keeping your data organized without starting a fresh file every time.
- Applied Ballistics Connectivity: It feeds muzzle velocity data directly into the Applied Ballistics (AB) Quantum app or compatible Garmin AB devices for near-instant trajectory solutions.
