Performance & Compatibility

• Dual-Purpose Design: When used unsuppressed, it functions as a highly effective flash hider and compensator, reducing muzzle rise and visible signature.
• Mounting Ecosystem: It is specifically engineered to mate with the HUXWRX Hub Stiction Lock Adapter. Because the Stiction Lock system shares geometry with the Dead Air Xeno system, this compensator is also compatible with Xeno-equipped suppressors.
• Taper Engagement: It utilizes a taper-mount design located behind the threads. This ensures the suppressor self-centers and stays tight during fire, significantly reducing the risk of "carbon lock" (where the suppressor gets stuck to the muzzle device).

Installation Notes

• Wrench Flats: The device features 7/8" wrench flats. Note that standard armorers' wrenches may not always include this specific size, so a 7/8" crows foot or adjustable wrench is often required.
• Torque Spec: The recommended torque is typically 30–35 ft-lbs. HUXWRX generally recommends using Rocksett or Red Loctite on the barrel threads to ensure the muzzle device does not unscrew when removing a tightened suppressor.
• Timing: Unlike many traditional muzzle brakes, this "Comp" version is often designed so that timing (using shims) is preferred but not always strictly required for safety, though it is recommended for optimal flash/rise mitigation.
