The INFITAC PA01 is the slimline mounting adapter designed to fit the Fast Mini (FMP13 and FML19) thermal sights onto micro-compact pistols.
While the Fast Mini thermal sights are natively built with an RMR footprint, the PA01 acts as a conversion plate for the smaller Shield RMSc footprint, which is the industry standard for "sub-compact" and "slim" optics-ready handguns.
Primary Compatibility
The PA01 is specifically engineered for micro-compact slides, including:
- GLOCK: G43X MOS and G48 MOS.
- SIG Sauer: P365 series (Optics Ready models) and P322.
- Springfield Armory: Hellcat OSP and XD-S Mod.2 OSP.
- Ruger: Max-9.
- Smith & Wesson: M&P Shield Plus (Optics Ready).
- Other: Mossberg MC2sc, SCCY CPX series (Optics Ready).
Key Specifications
- Material: CNC-machined from AL 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum.
- Weight: Featherlight at 0.37 oz (10.6g), critical for maintaining reliable slide cycling on smaller micro-compact handguns.
- Recoil Rating: Verified to maintain zero under the 1200g recoil forces generated by small-frame, high-velocity slides.
- Finish: Matte black hard-coat anodizing.
Why Use the PA01?
- Footprint Conversion: The Fast Mini (RMR footprint) is physically wider than a standard RMSc cut. The PA01 provides the necessary surface area and mounting pillars to bridge that gap safely.
- Ultra-Low Profile: It is designed to keep the thermal sensor as low as possible. This is particularly important on micro-compacts where a high height-over-bore can make close-range aiming difficult.
- Indexing Lugs: It features reinforced recoil lugs that match the RMSc pattern, preventing the optic from shifting or shearing screws during rapid fire.
Installation Advice
- Screw Selection: Because RMSc slides vary in depth (especially between the Glock 43X and Sig P365), always check that the mounting screws do not protrude into the internal slide components, such as the extractor spring channel.
- Torque: Apply 15–18 inch-pounds of torque.
- Threadlocker: Use Blue Loctite to ensure the thermal unit stays secure, as the lighter slides of micro-compacts often create sharper recoil impulses.
