It provides fixed 3x magnification to extend the effective range of red dot sights or 1x prism scopes while keeping added bulk and weight to an absolute minimum. A separate ACSS Pegasus ranging reticle version (PA-SLX-3XMM-PEGASUS) is also available for users who want built-in holdover/ranging capability.
