Similar to the award-winning Sachse model, the Vesperon features the same overall aesthetic in a similar size but with a liner lock mechanism. It also has an ambidextrous thumb slot in the blade in lieu of studs which is nothing more than a preference choice but one that we agree with. It actually makes the slicing performance better simply because there are no studs getting in the way during the cut. The handle is the same shape, slightly larger in fact allowing for better use with gloved hands or those born with larger mitts. In fact, when push comes to shove, we like the looks, materials, and size of the Vesperon better, and for its price point, it's hard to beat.
