Great Red Dot!
Got one, mounted solid, works as advertised and expected. Easy zero. Sight comes with dot in optical center and will be parallel to the bore so if you can't get to the range right away, it can still be used on your rifle to hit man sized targets up to about 50 yards easy if this is a defense rifle. But if you zero, its easy and quick - for me it was two clicks left and two clicks up at 100 yards. The clicks are a little 'soft' feeling so you need to pay attention and adjust slowly but the clicks have a definite click feel to them and you can tell by feel when you adjust so pay attention. The clicks are audible, however, they are not real loud so pay attention. Mount is solid. It came with absolute co-witness mount attached to the sight which is what I wanted anyway. The advertisement says its absolute co-witness only but in the box was also the low mount. There is no difference for the red dot its self, its just the mounts that are different. Dot is crisp. I have a slight astigmatism so I get a little burst along one axis of the dot but that's not the sight its self. I checked the dot using the camera method and the dot is fine, also had someone without astigmatism check and the dot is fine. If you turn dot brightness all the way up to max there is some red halo and tinting effect in the sight glass but this would be normal for most tubed red dot sights with such a bright dot. The MOTAC is great. But a tip: When you first put the battery in and turn it on, then let it sit idle for several minutes you may find that its still on. MOTAC is suppose to turn this off at 120 seconds of being still. At first I thought something was wrong when it did not go off like it was suppose to. I contacted SIG and they told me this was normal activity due to the sight being powered down for so long with no battery installed, to just let it set for a few minutes with the battery installed then turn it off then back on and then the MOTAC would work properly and it did. So don't be shocked thinking its broken, because its not. The battery they supply comes with an adhesive backed cover over it. When you pull it off it leaves adhesive on the battery, clean this off the battery before you install the battery. My previous favorite rifle red dot out of all the ones I have (9) was the Sig Romeo MSR, now its the Sig Romeo5. I'm sure people have their preferences for one reason or another, but for the price and quality the Romeo5 is worth it.
