Sig Sauer’s Tango MSR Riflescope is a perfect addition to an AR-type platform, but works equally well on virtually any other modern sporting rifle. It utilizes a high performance 10x optical systems with low dispersion glass for a crystal clear sight picture and excellent light transmission. The Tango MSR also comes equipped with an illuminated MSR-BDC10 SFP reticle, which is composed of a precise, 1-MOA free floating center-dot in the middle of an illuminated 10.85 MOA semicircle. Directly below the center-dot and semicircle is a “Christmas Tree” of holdover points and hash marks, allowing you to effectively compensate for bullet drop and wind drift at extended ranges. Other features of the Tango MSR include an integrated throw lever to seamlessly transition between magnifications, and an Alpha-MSR cantilevered scope mount is included as well.

First impressions
I liked that this came with a mount. It is a little on the heavy side. I liked that it had all the torque values so setting it up was a breeze.the glass is clear and while not the best, the scope caps are also nice. Haven't made it to the range yet so can't say how it shoots unfortunately.

SIG SAUER TANGO-MSR 1-10X28MM
Neal is fantastic as always. Fast shipping, great pricing. Now to the LVPO… Better scope than anticipated. Tried zeroing @ 50 yards. Seemed OK. Then stepped to test on 100-yard target. Off target a scary amount. Made the mistake of 1/4 MOA adjustments, needed 1/2. Re-zeroed @ 100 yards. Easy to stack rounds on each other. Moved to the 200-yard target (Small range). Had so much fun I ran out of rounds (Swinging target with each hit, never missed). Mounted on a LaRue Tactical 16" 5.56. First 200 rounds. 10x was overkill for 200 yards (Though fun to have). 1x seems to be a true 1x. Took some getting used to the eye box. Finial position for the scope is about 1/2" past the charging handle (Towards the butt stock) so that I could get a repeatable position on my cheek placement (Butt stock fully expanded). It feels like 2.5”-3” eye to scope was best for me. I liked the 6x power for 200 yards. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and will enjoy the heck out of it. I knew I was getting a $500 unit and that it would not compete against my $2500 unit. But for a $500 cost, it is a surprising value. Weight is fine for bench type range days. And looks like an old Maglite flashlight once mounted. No way I would go with this for movement type practice. I would go with the 6x for that (I also have one and it too is mounted on a LaRue Tactical 16” 5.56).
