It allows adjustments for vertical canting angle to compensate for .223rem ballistic characteristics and bullet drop. The sight is securely mounted to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails using a single locking Torx screw and square-shaped integral recoil stop, ensuring a secure zero hold and the ability to return to zero after removal.
