The Zaffiri Precision Blowhole Compensator (COMP-TH-G1917-BN) is a high-performance muzzle device engineered to significantly reduce muzzle flip and felt recoil on 9mm Glock platforms. Machined from solid 17-4 stainless steel and finished in a durable Black Nitride coating, this compensator uses a precision-ported design to redirect pressurized gases upward. This counteracts the natural upward snap of the pistol during ignition, resulting in a much flatter shooting experience and faster, more accurate follow-up shots for both competition and tactical use.
Specifically designed to provide a seamless aesthetic fit with Zaffiri Precision slides, the Blowhole Compensator is also compatible with a wide array of aftermarket and OEM 9mm Glock slides featuring a standard 1/2x28 threaded barrel. Its balanced weight (2.64 oz) adds just enough mass to the muzzle to assist in stability without making the firearm feel front-heavy. To ensure a rock-solid installation, each compensator includes set screws and a tube of Vibra-tite Red 131 thread locker, preventing the device from backing off during high-volume range sessions.
Note: While designed for maximum reliability, the use of a compensator may require the use of a lighter recoil spring (typically 13lb or 15lb) depending on your specific ammunition choice. It is compatible with all 9mm Glock models (Gen 1-5) except for the slimline G43, G43X, and G48.
