The Holosun HS510C is a open-reflex optical sight engineered for carbines, pistol caliber carbines (PCCs), and shotgun platforms. Constructed with a light weight 6061-T6 aluminum housing encased in a protective Grade 5 titanium alloy hood, the HS510C combines shock resistance with high mechanical durability under heavy recoil. 1. Clear the host firearm completely, verifying that both the chamber and magazine well are clear of live ammunition.
2. Unlock the integrated QD lever on the HS510C base by depressing the safety catch latch and opening the arm fully outward.
3. Place the optic onto the desired receiver rail slot, ensuring the cross-bolt seats into the Picatinny recoil groove.
4. Push the sight forward toward the muzzle to eliminate rail slop, then swing the QD lever closed until the safety catch engages with an audible click.
5. If rail tension is too loose or overly tight, open the lever, adjust the tension socket screw on the opposite side using the provided tool, and re-clamp until firm, zero-shift mounting is achieved.
6. Power on the reticle, select the desired reticle pattern via the soft-touch side controls, and adjust windage/elevation turrets (0.5 MOA per click) during live-fire zeroing at 50 yards.
