Order Verification & Security Policy
At Heart of Texas Armory, we take your security and the prevention of fraudulent transactions very seriously. Because we deal with high-value gear and restricted items, some orders may trigger a manual review process if they do not clear our standard automated verification procedures.
Why is my order being verified?
If our system flags an inconsistency (such as a mismatch between billing and shipping addresses or a high-risk IP location), we perform a manual name-match. This is a protective measure designed to safeguard our customers and ensure that credit cards are not being used without the owner's permission.
What information do I need to provide?
If your order is selected for manual verification, Neal or a member of our team will reach out to request a photo of the following:
- A valid Government-Issued ID: We must be able to see the Name and Address. You are encouraged to cover or blur your ID number and your photo for your privacy.
- The Credit Card used for the transaction: We must be able to see the Cardholder Name and the Last 4 Digits of the card. Crucially: You should cover the first 12 digits and the CVV code. We only need to see the last four digits to match the transaction in our system.
- Alternative Documents: If you prefer not to use an ID, we also accept a current utility bill or official mail that clearly shows your name and shipping address.
How is my data handled?
We do not store photos of IDs or credit cards in our permanent database. These images are used strictly for one-time verification purposes to clear your order for shipment. Once the order is verified, the images are deleted from our communication logs.
How to submit your information
For the fastest processing, we recommend texting your photos directly to 979-202-1955. This allows us to verify your order in real-time and get your gear out the door as quickly as possible. Alternatively, you may respond to the verification email sent by our team.
Failure to provide verification when requested may result in the cancellation and full refund of your order. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our community and your accounts secure.
