The ANV A100 is derived form the original A200, but has several defining features that you'll love. Starting off with the blade, this model is available in premium CPM MagnaCut steel. CPM MagnaCut is the latest in American-made wear-resistant and premium particle metallurgy stainless tool steel for knives. Magnacut is an extremely tough stainless steel with excellent edge retention properties and outstanding corrosion resistance.
The handle on the A100 is fiberglass-reinforced nylon—a super polymer composite that's lighter than G-10 and incredibly strong. Compared with the A200, the textured portion of the scales and the flat portion are reversed, and instead of having two barrel spacers, it has one long spacer that matches the lock and thumb stud. Like its predecessor, this pocket knife comes with a Lumidot inside the thumb stud and a reversible wire pocket clip, making it an extremely viable EDC cutting tool.
