The AIM Sports AR-15 MIL-SPEC Buffer Tube (XDB15PSTOC) is a precision-machined 6-position carbine receiver extension engineered to accept standard MIL-SPEC dimensioned collapsible stocks. Designed as a direct-fit replacement or foundation for custom AR-15 and AR-10/LR-308 carbine builds, this extension tube delivers a rigid, low-friction housing for the buffer assembly and action spring.
Precision-extruded from high-strength 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, the XDB15PSTOC features a true 1.148-inch outer diameter to guarantee tight, wobble-free lockup with MIL-SPEC stocks. The top indexing ridge features six precision-machined position adjustment holes, providing reliable length-of-pull customization for different body armors, clothing layers, and shooting positions.
Finished in a protective matte black hardcoat anodizing, the interior and exterior surfaces resist friction wear, carbon fouling, and corrosion. The self-draining rear face features drainage ports to assist with water evacuation, while the threaded end interfaces cleanly with standard lower receiver threads and castle nuts.

- Clean and degrease the lower receiver buffer tube threads and endplate alignment slot.
- Slide the endplate and castle nut onto the AIM Sports buffer tube before threading it into the lower receiver.
- Depress the buffer retainer and spring into the lower receiver channel while threading the tube forward until it captures the retaining pin lip.
- Torque the castle nut to armorer specification (38–40 ft-lbs) using a dedicated castle nut wrench, then apply a clean stake with an armorer punch into the endplate notch to prevent back-out under recoil.
