- Verify host receiver is verified completely unloaded, magazine removed, and chamber visually confirmed empty.
- Carefully loosen the existing grip screw inside the lower receiver cavity using a long hex key or flathead screwdriver.
- Slowly remove the old pistol grip, taking care not to lose the safety selector detent and safety detent spring located on the right side of the lower receiver.
- Insert the safety detent spring into the detent channel on the new Amend2 Enhanced 2 Grip.
- Align the grip onto the lower receiver tang, ensuring the detent spring compresses smoothly without buckling, insert the grip screw with washer, and torque to 25-30 in-lbs.
