Precision-machined from 8620 aircraft-quality steel, the carrier features a full-auto M16 mass profile to optimize lockup time and smooth out recoil impulse. The bolt assembly is CNC-machined from 9310 alloy steel, shot-peened for fatigue resistance, and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) to guarantee zero microscopic material defects. - Verify host upper receiver is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically confirmed empty.
- Apply a light coat of quality CLP or synthetic weapon grease to the carrier slide rails, cam pin, and bolt lugs prior to initial installation.
- Ensure the bolt is pulled forward into the unlocked position so the cam pin aligns properly with the carrier recess channel.
- Slide the complete BCG assembly into the rear of the upper receiver until seated against the barrel extension lugs.
- Perform manual charging handle cycle checks and headspace verification with a GO/NO-GO gauge on new barrel installs.
