Compatible with P365 3.1" (using compensator) and 3.7" slide assemblies. CRITICAL: This frame does NOT include cuts for a manual safety; FCUs equipped with manual safety levers will not seat unless the frame is notched or the safety assembly is removed. Requires 17-round P365 X-Macro magazines; standard 10-round and 12-round magazines are too short to lock into this grip. Standard P365 proprietary holsters will NOT fit due to the true 1913 Picatinny rail contour.
- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Lock the slide to the rear, rotate the takedown lever downward, and carefully remove the complete slide assembly forward off the frame rails.
- Push the frame takedown pin out from the rear of the grip module using a non-marring nylon armorer punch.
- Pivot the Fire Control Unit (FCU) upward from the rear and lift it out of the original grip housing, transferring the magazine catch if required.
- Seat the forward indexing tabs of the FCU into the Archangel AA140 frame, press the rear housing down into alignment, reinstall the receiver retention pin, remount the slide assembly, and perform a full trigger reset function check.
