Field Conversion & Staging Steps:
1. Clear the rifle, verify an empty chamber, and remove the bolt assembly from the receiver.
2. Loosen the two barrel retention screws located on the side of the MRAD lower receiver using a T30 Torx driver.
3. Slide the existing barrel straight out of the receiver front and slide the 20148 17" 6.5 Creedmoor barrel into the receiver until fully seated against the internal shoulder stop.
4. Torque the two receiver barrel screws to factory specification (140 in-lbs), swap the bolt head on your bolt body to the included 6.5 Creedmoor / .308 bolt head, and reinsert the bolt assembly.
