Boker Heckler & Koch MP7 Personal Duty Knife (PDK) Fixed Blade - 3.50" D2 Tool Steel Black Coated Drop Point Blade - Black Textured G10 Handles with Kydex Sheath (02HK001)
Overview & Heritage: The Boker Heckler & Koch MP7 Personal Duty Knife (02HK001) is a specialized tactical fixed blade designed in official collaboration with legendary firearms manufacturer Heckler & Koch. Headquartered in Solingen, Germany, Boker engineered the MP7 PDK as a compact, lightweight personal defense and utility backup tool inspired by the sub-compact operational doctrine of the iconic HK MP7 Personal Defense Weapon (PDW). Purpose-built for military personnel, law enforcement officers, and tactical operators, this low-profile fixed blade delivers unyielding full-tang durability, aggressive hand retention, and versatile mounting options for duty belts, tactical vests, or plate carriers.
Blade & Performance: Outfitted with a versatile 3.50-inch drop point blade forged from high-wear D2 tool steel, the 02HK001 provides outstanding edge longevity, high compressive strength, and formidable slicing force. The blade is treated with a non-reflective black protective coating that shields the steel from environmental moisture while eliminating operational glare. Precision flat-ground with a sturdy tip and aggressive spine jimping, its plain cutting edge excels at high-speed utility slicing, heavy cordage cutting, barrier breaching, and tactical backup defense.
Handle, Lock & Ergonomics: The handle scales are precision-milled from high-impact, weather-resistant Black G10, bolted securely to a broad full-tang chassis. Ergonomically contoured with deep finger choils and textured surface machining, the handle provides an unshakeable, slip-resistant grip in wet, cold, or gloved hands. Equipped with a lanyard pass-through port for retention cords, the MP7 PDK comes complete with a custom-molded black Kydex sheath and a multi-position belt adapter for seamless attachment to duty gear, MOLLE webbing, or tactical belts.
*Bench Notes & Field Care Guidance:*
D2 is a premier high-wear tool steel celebrated for exceptional edge holding ability and impact toughness. Maintain the protective black blade coating by wiping the steel clean and drying it thoroughly after field deployment or rain exposure. Apply a thin coat of synthetic oil along the plain cutting edge before long-term storage. Clean the G10 handle scales and Kydex sheath using warm water and mild dish soap as needed.
