Burn Proof Gear Heavy Suppressor Cover 6.5" x 1.5" Black - BPG-SC-H-6-5-1-5-BLK - UPC 644042980588

Product Description

The Burn Proof Gear Heavy Suppressor Cover (BPG-SC-H-6-5-1-5-BLK) is a battle-tested thermal mitigation sleeve engineered to eliminate optical heat haze, prevent contact burns, and protect valuable tactical gear during high-volume or full-auto firing schedules. Sized specifically at 6.5 inches in length by 1.5 inches in outer diameter, this heavy-duty cover is purpose-built to fit mid-length precision rifle and duty carbine suppressors. Utilizing advanced military-grade fire-retardant materials, the internal high-temp fiberglass mesh liner withstands continuous direct temperatures up to 2,000°F (1,093°C), while the outer DuPont™ Kevlar® shell handles temperatures up to 1,000°F (roughly 180 rapid shots of M855 ball).

Constructed from a patented two-part modular architecture, the internal core absorbs extreme thermal energy, while the heavy-duty Kevlar outer shell is finished in matte black for covert tactical deployment. The cover is engineered 0.5 inches longer than the target suppressor body (optimally designed for ~6.0-inch cans), allowing it to cinch tightly around both the front and rear ends. This design creates a guaranteed "no-slip fit" that prevents thermal expansion walk-off under heavy recoil during aggressive transitional drills.

Ideal for precision marksmen, tactical operators, and dynamic range staging, the Burn Proof Gear Heavy Suppressor Cover allows immediate handling and staging of hot suppressors in rifle cases or packs without risk of melting nylon gear or scorching vehicle interiors. Made in the USA and combat-proven, its non-reflective black finish reduces thermal infrared signatures while maintaining unyielding durability.

*Armorer Bench Notes & Real-World Staging Guidance:

Fitment Matrix: Sized for suppressors measuring approximately 6.0 inches in length and 1.5 inches in outer diameter (e.g., SureFire SOCOM556-RC2, Dead Air Sandman-S, and SilencerCo Omega 36M configurations). Note: BPG covers are engineered 0.5 inches longer than the suppressor body to ensure proper front-and-rear cinch retention. Ensure the suppressor is allowed to cool before long-term fully enclosed storage.

  1. Verify the firearm is completely clear and safe before installing or adjusting the suppressor cover.
  2. Slide the internal heat-resistant fiberglass liner and Kevlar outer cover over the suppressor body, positioning it for even overhang at both ends.
  3. Cinch the retention cord tightly around both ends of the suppressor body, routing through locking hardware and securing with a tight knot to prevent walk-off under recoil.

Key Features

  • Extreme Thermal Threshold: Inner fiberglass mesh liner withstands up to 2,000°F while the outer DuPont™ Kevlar® shell handles up to 1,000°F continuous output.
  • Heat Mirage Mitigation: Suppresses thermal convection heat waves to maintain clear sight lines through high-magnification optics.
  • No-Slip Fit Guarantee: Engineered 0.5" longer than the suppressor body to cinch securely at both the front and rear, preventing walk-off.
  • Two-Part Modular System: Combines a Black Kevlar exterior with a replaceable high-temperature inner FR sleeving to maximize product lifetime.
  • Low-Profile Black Finish: Non-reflective tactical black colorway reduces thermal IR emissions and blends seamlessly into duty kit.
