The Zulu Spear is a contemporary remake of one of D Rocket Design's first-ever pieces; a sleek, simple, and zen OTF automatic. It is a no-nonsense and elegant semi-custom Mid-Tech that is just about perfect. The blade is M390 stainless steel in the form of a Zulu spear – a blade that screams tactical and combat but with clean elegant lines of pure harmony (also available in Wharncliffe or Tactical Wharncliffe ie Sheepsfoot blade shapes). The handle is aircraft-grade aluminum coming in various colors, Ultem, or a mixture of the two and the double edge dagger shape is completely ambidextrous right out of the box. It features minimal markings of just the rocket logo and the steel on the reverse side of the blade which is a design choice we greatly appreciate. Dare we say that we think the Zulu Spear might just be better than the Microtech Dirac?
