- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Clean and degrease barrel muzzle threads and shoulder thoroughly using isopropyl alcohol.
- Utilize the included timing shim kit to properly index the muzzle brake ports horizontally at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions.
