The EOTech HWS EXPS3 DCR (EXPS3-DCR) introduces EOTech's innovative Danger Close Reticle (DCR) into their flagship night vision-compatible holographic platform. Purpose-built to solve height-over-bore point-of-aim versus point-of-impact (POA/POI) shifts during ultra-close engagements, the DCR modifies the iconic 68 MOA "speed ring" by removing the top arch and incorporating a precise 7-yard aiming chevron at the bottom.

Zeroed with a standard 5.56 NATO rifle at 50 yards, the DCR provides three intuitive holdover solutions: the 1 MOA center dot handles 50/200-yard targets, while the bottom chevron instantly gives shooters a 7-yard "danger close" aiming solution without requiring mental calculations under stress. Housed in the battle-proven EXPS aluminum chassis, it features 20 daylight brightness settings alongside 10 night vision-compatible modes for seamless integration with Gen I–III+ NVGs.

Equipped with an integrated quick-detach (QD) lever mount, the EXPS3-DCR provides a lower 1/3 co-witness sight picture over standard iron sights. Side-mounted control buttons allow easy operation when paired with an EOTech G33, G43, or G45 magnifier, while the side-loading CR123A battery compartment enables fast battery swaps without removing the optic or losing zero.

Fitment Matrix: Direct fit for MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny and Weaver rail slots. Features an integrated quick-detach (QD) throw lever with adjustable locking tension. Sets optic height to lower 1/3 co-witness (~7mm raised base) above standard rail height.

1. Verify the firearm is completely clear, safe, and unloaded before installation.
2. Place the EXPS3-DCR onto the upper receiver Picatinny rail, adjust the QD throw lever tension nut for a snug lockup, and clamp down firmly.
3. Zero the 1 MOA center dot at 50 yards. The center dot will automatically correspond to 200 yards, while the bottom chevron serves as your dedicated 7-yard close-quarters holdover.
