The Faxon Duty Series 16" Gunner 7.62x39 Complete Upper is a purpose-built solution for shooters who want the hard-hitting power of the 7.62x39mm cartridge in the familiar, modular AR-15 platform. This "Suppressor Ready" (SR) model is specifically engineered to overcome the common hurdles of suppressed rimless builds, providing a finely tuned, high-performance front end right out of the box.
This complete upper receiver group features Faxon’s legendary 16" Gunner Profile barrel, crafted from 4150 CMV steel and Nitride treated for maximum longevity. The Gunner profile blends the durability of a Government profile with the weight savings of a Pencil profile, ensuring the rifle remains balanced and maneuverable. Because this is the SR version, it comes equipped with a Faxon Patented Adjustable Gas Block, allowing you to perfectly tune your rifle for suppressed use or to optimize cycling with various 7.62x39 loads.
Included with this upper is a Faxon Superfinished 7.62x39 Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) and a mil-spec charging handle. The muzzle is outfitted with a MuzzLok® Plan B Compatible Flash Hider, making it a drop-in host for many popular suppressor mounting systems. Built 100% in-house in Cincinnati, Ohio, this upper is the ultimate choice for a high-performance 7.62x39 hunting or tactical rifle.
