Fitment Matrix: Fits factory GLOCK 17, 22, 31, 34, 35, and 45 full-size magazines (Gens 1–5). Adds +4 rounds in 9mm Luger and +3 rounds in .40 S&W / .357 SIG. (Note: Designed strictly for factory OEM GLOCK metal-lined polymer magazine bodies; do NOT install on aftermarket KCI, ETS, or Magpul PMAG magazines due to differing base pad locking tab geometries).
- Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, lock the slide rearward, and visually/physically inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
- Depress the central retaining pin on the factory GLOCK magazine floorplate insert using a punch or GLOCK disassembly tool.
- Squeeze the lower sides of the factory magazine body firmly to disengage the internal locking tabs while sliding the factory floorplate forward and off the tube.
- Carefully remove the original magazine spring and floorplate insert, taking care as the spring is under tension.
- Insert the included Ghost extra-power stainless steel magazine spring (with the new floorplate insert attached) into the magazine body.
