- Secure the barrel in an armorer barrel vise block or reaction rod, apply high-temperature threadlocker (Rocksett or Loctite 272) to the threads, torque the muzzle device to 30–35 ft-lbs using a 3/4-inch crowfoot wrench until timed dead-center, verify bore concentricity with an armorer alignment rod, and confirm staging readiness.
