- Ensure the firearm is completely unloaded with the magazine removed and chamber cleared before installation.
- Warm the rubber sleeve using a hairdryer or warm water for 60 seconds to increase elasticity before stretching it over the grip frame.
- Lightly lubricate the inside of the sleeve with rubbing alcohol or window cleaner as an installation lubricant; slide the sleeve up from the base of the grip and align the finger grooves and beavertail tang. Allow 24 hours for the liquid to fully evaporate before firing or holstering.
