The Hogue OverMolded Rubber Beavertail Grip (15036) in Purple is an ergonomic pistol grip upgrade engineered for AR-15 and AR-10 rifle and pistol platforms. - Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Unscrew the existing pistol grip bolt inside the grip cavity using a 3/16" Allen wrench or flathead screwdriver, taking care not to lose the safety selector detent and spring.
- Align the safety selector detent and spring into the lower receiver channel while seating the Hogue grip over the receiver mounting lug.
- Insert the provided mounting screw and washer into the interior grip cavity, applying medium-strength threadlocker (Blue 242/243), and torque securely to 25–30 in-lbs.
