*Armorer Bench Notes & Real-World Staging Guidance:*
Fitment Matrix: Direct-mount compatibility with Trijicon® RMR® / Holosun 507C footprint slide cuts and receiver adapter plates. Installs onto MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails via the included Military Olive clamp adapter. CRITICAL: Do NOT install directly onto Holosun K-Series/RMSc or Aimpoint Acro footprints. When mounting to handgun slides, verify the right-side screw does not extend past the ceiling of the extractor depressor plunger channel. Always torque RMR footprint mounting screws to exactly 15 in-lbs using non-permanent blue threadlocker. Torque the Picatinny rail clamp fastener to 20–25 in-lbs. Allow threadlocker to cure for 24 hours prior to live fire.
- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Clean and thoroughly degrease the mounting surface, slide cut screw holes, and fastener threads using isopropyl alcohol or a dedicated solvent.
- Index the optic housing onto the RMR locating pins of your slide, or firmly seat the optic onto the included Military Olive Picatinny mount base.
- Apply a single drop of medium-strength blue threadlocker (Loctite 242/243) to each fastener and torque evenly in an alternating sequence to 15 in-lbs (or 20–25 in-lbs on the Picatinny rail clamp bolt).
- Perform a complete bench check: test the side battery tray retention, cycle Shake Awake motion activation, verify reticle switching between 2 MOA dot, 32 MOA ring, and Circle-Dot modes, apply witness paint to screw heads, and complete a final live-fire zero confirmation.
