The Holosun HS403R Red Dot Sight (HS403R) is a compact 20mm micro-optic engineered for AR-15 carbines, shotguns, pistol caliber carbines (PCCs), and rimfire platforms. Replacing traditional push-button interfaces, the HS403R features an intuitive side-mounted rotary rheostat dial that allows rapid, tactile brightness adjustments across 10 daylight and 2 night-vision compatible reticle intensity settings.
Built with a 2 MOA red dot illuminated by Holosun's high-efficiency LED optical engine, the HS403R delivers up to 100,000 hours of continuous runtime on a single CR2032 battery housed conveniently inside the rheostat dial cap. The optic utilizes standard Aimpoint® Micro (T1/T2) footprint geometry, allowing seamless integration with a wide ecosystem of aftermarket mounts and risers.
Housed in a rugged CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body with a durable MAO (Micro-Arc Oxidation) black finish, the HS403R is IP67 certified waterproof and dustproof. Complete with a lower 1/3 co-witness mount and a low-profile mount in the box, the HS403R provides reliable red dot performance for tactical training, home defense, and competition staging.

Fitment Matrix: Standard Aimpoint® Micro (T1/T2) mounting footprint. Includes lower 1/3 co-witness mount (1.63" optical axis) and low-profile mount for MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails.
- Verify host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, safety engaged, and chamber confirmed empty.
- Unscrew side battery cap located on the rotary dial and insert a fresh CR2032 battery with positive (+) side facing outward.
- Select desired mounting height (lower 1/3 co-witness for AR-15 or low mount for shotguns/AK platforms) and torque crossbolt to 20 in-lbs on Picatinny rail.
- Rotate the side rheostat dial clockwise to power on and select appropriate reticle brightness setting (10 daylight / 2 NV).
- Zero optic at desired engagement distance using capped windage and elevation turrets (0.5 MOA per click adjustment).
