Fitment Matrix: Fits standard Mil-Spec AR-15, M4, and AR-22 upper receivers. Requires a low-profile gas block (0.750" or 0.625" outer diameter) for clearance under the 15" handguard shroud. (Note: Not compatible with AR-10 / LR-308 large-frame receivers or gas piston systems with oversized gas blocks).
- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Remove existing handguard, muzzle device, gas block, gas tube, and factory barrel nut. Clean upper receiver threads thoroughly.
- Install the included steel barrel nut onto upper receiver threads and torque to 35–45 ft-lbs using a dedicated barrel nut wrench. Align gas tube clearance notches if applicable.
- Reinstall low-profile gas block and gas tube. Slide the 15" M-LOK handguard over the barrel nut, align the top Picatinny rail with the upper receiver rail, and tighten the dual clamping screws to 30–35 in-lbs using medium-strength threadlocker.
