Featuring a massive 34mm maintube machined from a single piece of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, the 188843 offers up to 125 MOA / 36.4 MIL of elevation adjustment travel to dial out to extreme distances. Fitment Matrix: Requires heavy-duty 34mm scope rings or a 34mm one-piece cantilever mount suitable for the 52mm objective bell diameter. Ideal for bolt-action precision rifles (PRS/NRL), large-frame AR-10 / SR-25 platforms, and ELR setups. When mounting, ensure ring base clearance accounts for the 52mm objective bell. Follow Leupold torque recommendations: 15–18 in-lbs on ring caps, 65 in-lbs on cross-bolts to Picatinny base. Do NOT exceed 20 in-lbs on the maintube ring caps.
- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Level the rifle in a solid gun vise and mount high-quality 34mm scope rings to your Picatinny rail.
- Set the Mark 4HD into the bottom ring halves, set proper eye relief (3.8" to 4.0") at 24x magnification, and level the scope body using feeler gauges or reticle levels.
- Torque the ring cap screws in an alternating X-pattern to 15–18 in-lbs. Install the included CR2032 battery into the illumination turret cap and verify side focus calibration before zeroing.
