1. Verify host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically confirmed empty.
2. To load, actuate the front ratchet lever down to relieve spring pressure, insert a 5.56/.223 cartridge, and release the lever. Repeat until full (60 rounds).
3. Insert the loaded drum straight into the upper magwell with a firm upward slap to ensure the magazine catch fully engages.
4. Use the translucent rear window pane to monitor remaining ammunition reserves during live-fire staging.
5. To disassemble for cleaning, press the central locking tab on the rear face and rotate the rear housing lock ring counterclockwise.
