The Magpul MOE-K® Grip (MAG438-BLK) is a drop-in upgrade for AR-15 / M4 rifle and pistol platforms designed for modern short-length-of-pull (LOP) weapons and personal defense weapon (PDW) configurations. Fitment Matrix: Direct drop-in fitment for standard AR-15, M4, M16, and AR-10/SR-25 pattern lower receivers. (Note: Due to its slim PDW-focused design, this model features a solid bottom shell and does not accept Magpul Storage Cores).
- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually verified empty.
- Unscrew the existing pistol grip bolt inside the grip cavity using a 3/16" Allen wrench or flathead screwdriver, taking care not to lose the safety selector detent and spring.
- Align the safety selector detent and spring into the lower receiver channel while seating the Magpul MOE-K Grip over the receiver lug.
- Insert the provided mounting screw and washer into the interior grip cavity, applying medium-strength threadlocker (Blue 242/243), and torque securely to 25–30 in-lbs.
