The Magpul MOE SL Handguard for the H&K 94/MP5 (MAG1049-BLK) is a modern, lightweight, high-strength polymer drop-in upgrade engineered to modernize the classic roller-delayed blowback platform. Molded from Magpul’s signature heat-resistant, high-impact polymer formula, the MOE SL features integrated M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. Fitment Matrix: HK94, MP5, SP5, Zenith ZF-5, Century Arms AP5, PTR 9C, and full-size 9mm MP5 clone receivers. (Not compatible with K/PDW short receiver models).
- Verify host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically confirmed empty.
- Remove the factory handguard push-pin located at the front of the receiver handguard hanger.
- Slide the original handguard forward off the barrel and cocking tube assembly.
- Align the rear interface of the Magpul MOE SL handguard into the receiver trunnion slots, rotating the front upward flush against the hanger loop.
- Reinsert the factory handguard push-pin until fully seated and retained. Confirm the handguard sits rigid with zero rotational play.
