- Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop any inserted magazine, lock the bolt rearward using the charging handle, and visually inspect the chamber to ensure zero live rounds are present.
- To load: ratchet the front loading lever downward to relieve internal spring tension, drop individual 9mm cartridges into the feed neck, and release the lever. Repeat until all 50 rounds are seated.
- Insert the loaded D-50 EV9 drum straight upward into the receiver magwell until the magazine catch locks with a positive, tactile click.
