The Magpul UBR GEN2 (Utility/Battle Rifle) Collapsible Stock provides fixed-stock cheek weld consistency combined with multi-position length-of-pull (LOP) adjustability for AR-15 and AR-10/SR-25 pattern rifles. Designed as an operational upgrade over original UBR geometry, the GEN2 retains identical cheek weld integrity regardless of stock extension position. This architecture prevents beard snagging and maintains a repeatable weld surface for precision long-range or high-speed carbine staging.

Engineered with a custom receiver extension tube included in the package, the UBR GEN2 accepts standard carbine buffers and springs as well as A5-length buffer systems without modification. Constructed from impact-resistant polymer over a heavy-duty internal steel locking mechanism, the stock features 8 distinct LOP adjustment positions, front/rear rotation-limited QD sling swivel mount points, an ergonomic MOE SL rubber butt-pad, and a removable storage compartment door.

*Armorer Bench Notes & Real-World Staging Guidance:*

Fitment Matrix: Mounts to AR-15 and AR-10/SR-25 lower receivers using the included proprietary receiver extension. Compatible with standard mil-spec carbine buffer/spring setups or A5 buffer systems (spacer included).

Verify the firearm is safe, magazine removed, and chamber confirmed clear prior to installation.

Remove factory buttstock, buffer, spring, receiver end plate, and castle nut from host receiver.

Thread the included UBR receiver extension tube into the lower receiver, ensuring proper takedown pin detent/spring positioning.

Torque receiver extension locking nut to factory armorer specifications (40 ft-lbs).

Slide the UBR GEN2 stock main housing onto the receiver extension tube and secure the primary steel locking screws.

Install preferred buffer and buffer spring assembly, then conduct mechanical function checks through all 8 LOP detent settings before staging.
