The Noveske KX5 Flash Suppressor (05000520), colloquially known as the "Slim Flaming Pig," is a high-performance linear muzzle device engineered specifically for 7.62 NATO / .308 Winchester short-barreled rifles (SBRs) and AR-10 carbine platforms. Redesigned with a slimmed-down 1.2-inch outer diameter, the KX5 fits cleanly underneath slim free-float handguards and M-LOK rail systems, including Noveske NSR handguards.
Precision-machined from high-strength heat-treated steel with a black nitride finish, the internal conical expansion chamber redirects concussion, muzzle blast, and unburnt powder gasses directly forward away from the operator. This linear gas displacement drastically reduces side-blast pressure for adjacent shooters while increasing internal backpressure to assist in reliable cycling on short-barreled 7.62mm and .300 Blackout gas systems.

Fitment Matrix: Fits 7.62 NATO, .308 Win, and .300 AAC Blackout barrels threaded in 5/8x24. The 1.2" outer diameter allows installation under handguards with an internal clearance of 1.25" or greater.
- Verify host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically confirmed empty.
- Clean muzzle threads thoroughly with a wire brush and degreaser to remove carbon deposits and factory oil.
- Slide included crush washer onto barrel threads with the cup side facing toward the receiver.
- Thread the Noveske KX5 onto the muzzle by hand until hand-tight against the crush washer.
- Use an armorers wrench on the rear wrench flats to index the Flaming Pig logo to your desired orientation (1/4 to 3/4 turn past hand-tight).
