Fitment Matrix: Direct fit for standard mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers. Accommodates low-profile gas blocks set under the rail system.
- Verify host AR-15 upper receiver is completely clear, bolt carrier group removed, and chamber visually confirmed empty.
- Install low-profile gas block and gas tube onto the barrel prior to final rail mounting.
- Thread the included proprietary Noveske steel barrel nut onto the upper receiver threads, torquing to 35–50 ft-lbs using the included Noveske barrel nut wrench.
- Slide the NSR 15" M-LOK handguard over the barrel and barrel nut assembly, ensuring the anti-rotation pin aligns with the upper receiver index hole.
- Secure handguard to barrel nut using the included mounting screws, torquing evenly to 18–20 in-lbs in a cross-pattern before live-fire staging.
