(Note: Its short compact chassis leaves a smaller footprint on the upper receiver rail; requires a high-quality torque wrench for mounting ring installation—do not over-torque ring caps to avoid binding internal tube assembly).

1. Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, pull the charging handle rearward, lock the action open, and visually/physically inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
2. Clean the top Picatinny rail section and install a 30mm cantilever scope mount to the receiver, torquing base cross-bolts to manufacturer specification (typically 35–45 in-lbs).
