- Insert the detent spring and plunger into the anchor, align the magwell's rear female dovetail with the anchor, depress the plunger using the supplied detent tool, slide rearward until it snaps into lockup, and press down firmly on a protected work surface to seat the front retaining tooth.
- Perform a complete armorer cycle check: insert empty factory magazines to verify positive free-fall drop clearance without binding, confirm slide lockback, and execute full dry-fire staging readiness.
